I announced on Tuesday (24th) on Boogiefest'20 Facebook Event page the following message. 

(I am sorry if you have not seen it yet):

 

"It comes with great sadness but more than likely at no surprise that this event is now cancelled.

Please bear with me as I am currently working on sending out emails to you all and a post on here explaining what's going to happen next. This will be within the next couple of days.

Thank you ALL so much for your support in this event, I am truly sorry and gutted for us all .. BUT I will make it up to you!!

For now ..... if you have a hotel room booked or accommodation, please get in touch with them and get it cancelled. Hotels are being very understanding of the situation at the moment, so if they cannot refund you any monies paid, ask them to move your booking to 14th-16th May '21 (In the hope you can make next year!!)."

 

The kind messages of support have been phenomenal and I really cannot thank you enough. Just knowing that you are all right behind me and supporting me means so much. 

I would also like to add that my support back to you is just the same. I have been receiving lots messages saying "keep my money, I don't wish for a refund" etc... This is just so thoughtful of you all and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. 

I hope you understand this and please do not take offence but I really do not wish to take your money and not offer you anything in return.

 

So ..... Boogiefest'20 is cancelled BUT Boogiefest'21 is going ahead!!

 

Here are your options:

 

1) I can offer to transfer your ticket across to next years event. Which will take place 14th-16th May 2021. You do not have to make your decision just yet but hear this ....... It is going to be AMAZING!! I am currently working on a FAB-U-LOUS line up for you all and I am just waiting on a couple of confirmations before I can announce to you all who will be joining us, hopefully this will be with in the next couple of days!

So if this is the option that you would like to take, no monies have been lost and you have an event in your calendar for next year you can look forward to and sit back and relax knowing that it has already been paid!!  

 

2) If you cannot attend next years event, I will be so sorry to hear this but I will honour you a refund. Just know that you will be missed at the event!

 

Whichever option you choose,  please respond to this email and we will action what is required. 

(Please note you will not get a response back from your answer until all appropriate actions have been dealt with).

I hope that makes sense and you understand. I'm sure you can appreciate that this is a big task to do whether it be transferring your ticket to the next year or processing a refund. Myself and Jane on top of this have other things going on and for the time being we cannot devote all our time to this but at least work through all your responses and requirements when we can.

To everyone who has re-booked for Boogiefest '21, your support is greatly appreciated.

When I said you are gonna like what we have in store for you, I now hope you agree!! Take a look ....

We have teamed up Boogiefest'20 line up with team Boogiefest'21 to create an event that is so gonna make up for the cancelation of this years event .......

There maybe a few more added to this already great line up, so keep an eye out for any changes/ announcements!!

But for now, I will just leave this flyer here with you ....

PEEPS MOVING TO NEXT YEAR: ????????????

First of all let me start by saying thank you so much for your understanding about Boogiefest'20. It is such a shame that we had to cancel the event but given the circumstances it most definitely is the right decision.

I also want to thank you so much for continuing to support the event by moving your ticket to next year. Believe me when I say "it is the right decision", your gonna love what we have in store for you next year!!

What do I do next?
Nothing is the answer to that! Just sit back and relax knowing that you have an event to look forward to next year that it has already been paid for, mark it in your diary and worry no more!

You will not be sent a new invoice/receipt as the one you already have is going to be valid for next year. If you have lost it or concerned it won't have the right date on it due to the change, please don't worry because we have made a note of all bookings and will have this on the door when we greet you next year! 
Here at Boogiefest, we don't do stress!! 

PEEPS WANTING A REFUND: ????????????

HI,

Firstly let me start by saying I am so sorry for the cancellation of this years Festival but given the circumstances it is definitely the right decision. 

I also want to thank you for your support in this years Boogiefest and I so sorry that you will not be able to attend next years event. A full refund will be heading your way.
Please can you confirm your bank details by replying to this email, so I can start the process of your refund.

If for any reason your circumstances change, please get in touch and we will look into getting you back on the event for next year.
