What a fantastic night had by all!!!  Thank you all for coming along to Dance For Life In Pink to help raise money for Cancer Research UK.  The night was a huge success.  We sold 114 tickets, 102 of which turned up for the evening as some dancers bought tickets as a donation.

We also raised money by having a massive raffle with over 70 prizes donated to us from all of our dancers, plus some very generous donations made on the evening. One from a lady who wishes to stay anonymous and one from Chris Adams and the Crazy Gang. Pam and Tony Flintoff who are on the committee for the Gloucestershire area had a stall selling some bits and bob's.  And finally, as always the night was coming to the end and I still had lots of dance requests left to play, so to prioritise which ones I played next (as didn't have time to play them all), dancers could donate £1 to make sure I played their favourite dance!!!!  And then there was "The Beast"!!!! thanks (or not!!!) to Sue for paying £10 to see me dance the dance!! (I must say thank you to Chris Adams to help me get through it!!)

I have had confirmation from Pam and Tony Flintoff that we raised on the night an AMAZING figure of £1,188.67. Although we are still waiting on a couple of donations to come through, that is the final figure we raised on the evening.

I personally have to thank a few people as I couldn't have done the night without them or we wouldn't have had as many turn up without there help:

Johnny, Sue and Jacky, Sandra (from Berkeley Class), Lynne (L4Leather), Jo (from Jazzy Jo's), Sarah (from BEW Class).

And a MASSIVE thank you to Hamfields Lesuire for donating the hall on the evening for us to hold the event.

As I mentioned on the evening we will be holding this event again next year, so keep an eye out for a new date coming out soon!!!
